A production company that stayed small on purpose

Rowan started in 2014 with two producers and a van. Today we are 24 people in a West Loop warehouse, and we still take on about 60 events a year so every client gets a senior producer.

Three rules we do not bend

One producer per event

The person on your first call is the person holding the cue sheet on show day. If they are on holiday, their named deputy has been on every call too.

Nothing is marked up

We earn the planning fee and nothing else. Commissions from hotels come back to you line by line.

We say no early

If the date, the headcount and the budget do not fit, we say so on the first call, and we suggest what would.

Our own crew and our own kit

Stage managers, AV technicians and the registration team all work for Rowan. We own the mics, the clickers, the badge printers and the spares, so show day never depends on a stranger with a van.

Tell us the date, the headcount and the budget line.

A producer calls you back within one working day with three venue options and an honest read on the budget. No deck, no retainer to start.
